Join us from 5-8pm at Morgan Park located on the far south end of KK in Bay View. Enjoy live entertainment as you indulge in a variety of delicious food options that will be available from Jeppa Joe’s, The Good Food Dude and FiveStar Nachos.

Tattoo artist Scott James LaShay presents a series of Illustrations that provide the framework and locations that his clients associate with most. Utilizing sketches, maps, and navigational tools, these works are a juxtaposition of art and spatial identity. The title of what Scott is presenting is called “The Blueprints and Maps: An Art that Lasts a Lifetime”.
Ryan Russell, aka Rhyno, is a local artist specializing in art photography, portraits and architecture. He is based out of Milwaukee’s south side, and has been an avid photo-artist for 20 years.
Mini Craft Fair: Jennifer Manzi - knit hats and longies; Natural Mama Outpost – cloth diapers, wipes, mama cloth, breast pads, cloth diaper safe ointments, natural sunscreens, soaps, chapstick, etc.; and Amber Liddle – bibs, burp cloths and other crafty baby items
Featured artist that evening will be Surge, local glass blower. He will be on-hand that evening displaying his glass art along with tobacco accessories that he creates. He will also be available for questions from customers.

Bay View Urban Artisans; An Intentional Artists’ Community is home to 5 women artists whose work varies from fibers to book art to jewelry. Members live an artful life in our home that was built in 1895 as a funeral parlor. will feature work from the 5 residence and several guest artists. BVUA will also feature a performance piece by Anja Not-Anja, and we will have Live Music by Ben Yela. Refreshments will be served.

Creating something new is as much about what we subtract from the world as what we add to it.
For the month of September, artist Jenie Gao will be practicing a new morning ritual, writing passages that explore different aspects of this concept of creation.
At the entrance of her studio space is enormous chalkboard. As the month passes, she will work on a colossal chalk drawing, viewable from the streets outside her studio for passersby to witness its evolution. Writing and drawing updates will also be shared online. For the opening on Bay View Gallery Night, visitors are invited to choose a section of the drawing to erase and replace with their own contribution. Each transformation will be photographed and the record will be shared online following the show.

Attendees can also check out our live workouts going on, and enjoy healthy refreshments! We will be offering information on our grand opening kick off party in October as we are moving gym locations from KK to 3056 S. Delaware Avenue next to Hectors.
This stop is a working professional artist studio showcasing drawings, paintings, and original prints and how they are made. Amy will have work available to view and purchase. She will reveal the artist’s studio and process with works in progress and drawing demonstrations.
Our featured artist for the evening will be Samantha Rekas. She is an architect student at UW-Milwaukee and her artwork helps with her schooling. Her prints help with Photoshop, string art with building and wood working, watercolors and canvas with architectural renderings. You can find her artwork at SamsSimpleDecor.etsy.com
Along with viewing Sam’s art, you can browse our selection of handcrafted soaps, lotions, bath bombs, skin care and gifts. The scrub station will be available where you can test a variety of hand and body scrubs. Snacks and beverages will be provided by Skyline Catering.
There will also be an artist offering free henna tattoos for the night.

The front space of Jan Pierce, S.C. is being converted into a gallery and will feature the photography of local business owner Adam Murphy. His unique shots are printed on brushed aluminum, nearly giving them a three dimensional look.
Featuring: Jesse Graves, Jonathan Inkman, Adam Eschete, Bill McGinnis, Esther Wu-McGuire, Brian J McGuire Charity Harvey is an Aerial Artist and she will be performing during the event.

Actaea Works will be open for the evening of September 27th for visitors to tour the quaint Victorian home turned Salon and Spa featuring black and white photography by Jennifer Blando and paintings by Carly Dellger. Enjoy two floors of local artwork and wine tasting brought to by your “home away from home.”
